Download & Register

  1. Download & Register

    • Click the link on the email to access and download the app and login.
    • Complete app registration by uploading a copy of your public liability insurance and G3 unvented hot water ticket.
    • We can then add your project to your app to progress.
Before you start work on site

Pre-Installation Modules

You must complete these modules to unlock the final MCS Commissioning Module. If you install the heat pump before completing these modules, the installation will not be MCS compliant, and we will not be able to MCS certify your installation.

  1. Equipment Check

    • Upload your heat emitter and heat pump quotes to the app.
    • We will check they meet the room-by-room heat loss calculation. You then know you are buying the right kit, and your customer will be warm.

  2. Property Owner Contact Details

    • Add your end customer details for us to send them our MCS engagement letter to sign. We will then be able to progress any Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant application for qualifying customers.

  3. MCS020a Sound Power Calculation

    • Take photos and site measurements, for us to complete the MCS020a Sound Power Calculation and confirm permitted development under planning rules.

  4. DNO Approval Request

    • Take pictures of the existing supply with MPAN number, or new supply order details from the main contractor or electrician. We submit the DNO request and manage the approval for you and your customer.
Before you install & commission

MCS Commissioning & Certification

  1. Book your MCS Commissioning Call

    • Call or email to book your video call so our experienced commissioning engineer can guide you through to complete the MCS Commissioning Module.

  2. MCS Commissioning

    • Upload site photos and installation evidence, of the installed heat pump and heat emitters for review and approval.
    • In as little as 15 minutes, we confirm the installation is approved for MCS certification or highlight any outstanding evidence for you to complete, before you leave site.

  3. MCS Certified

    • We produce the MCS certificate and notify building control for you. You will get an MCS handover pack which includes the certificate, to issue to your customer.
